What data we process and where it comes from

The data you provide when you contact us through the website form, by email, phone or WhatsApp: name, company, contact details and the content of your enquiry (project, materials, formats, destination).

The website itself collects nothing on its own: it uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools. Our hosting provider generates technical access logs (such as IP addresses) needed to serve the site and keep it secure.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We use your data to answer your request for a quote, samples or information, and to manage any business relationship that follows. The legal basis is the application of pre-contractual measures at your request and, where relevant, the performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR), or your consent when you contact us (art. 6.1.a GDPR).

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build profiles and we make no automated decisions.

How long we keep it

For as long as the business relationship or the handling of your enquiry lasts and, afterwards, for the applicable statutory limitation periods (tax and commercial).

Who it is shared with

We do not share your data with third parties, except where legally required. To operate we use service providers (web hosting and email) acting as processors under art. 28 GDPR guarantees. Where a provider involves an international transfer, it takes place with the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR (such as standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hello@ethicalgranite.com. We will reply within the statutory period.

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
