Slate · Certified · Traceable
Spain produces most of the world's natural roofing slate. We select ours from quarries we know first-hand, and supply it certified, graded and packed for export. Everything you need to specify it is on this page.

Standard formats below; other sizes, thicknesses and gradings on request. Properly graded, natural slate outlives every substitute (over 100 years on the roof), and every order is confirmed against the real production of the batch.

Origin & traceability
Our roofing slate comes from the slate heartland of north-west Iberia, León and Galicia, where it is split and graded by hand, slate by slate. Grading is a craft; we buy from people who have done it for generations, and we check it before loading.

Frequently asked questions
What sizes of roofing slate do you supply?
Standard formats from 500×250 to 400×250 mm and other regional sizes, in thicknesses from 3.5 mm. Tell us your market's format and we quote against it.
How is the slate graded?
By hand, at origin, slate by slate: flatness, thickness regularity and edge quality. We agree the grade with you (first selection or commercial) and document the batch before loading.
What is the lead time to the UK?
Indicatively 3–5 weeks from order confirmation to arrival, depending on production and sailing schedules. We confirm a real date with your quotation and keep you informed.
Do you supply hooks, nails and accessories?
We focus on the slate itself. We can point you to fixing suppliers your installer will know, and our formats are standard for hook and nail fixing alike.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. We send physical samples of the actual production quality, not showroom pieces. For large projects we prepare a reference sample of the agreed grade that travels with the order.
